Inauguration of the renovated library with an exhibition

The wedding ceremonies for couples from disadvantaged families were celebrated according to their religious belief.

December 1, 2008 Unity of Man organised a medical check-up and eye operation camp

It was about 2:30 p.m. when Mrs. Biji Surinder Kaur requested the participants to proceed to the Sarovar for the inauguration of the Symbols.

Passing by the Sarovar one could see that the shape of the Symbols were vaguely perceptible under the cloth.

In the morning the first session of the conference started. Hindus, Sikhs, Christians, Jains and Muslims were sitting side by side on the stage. Delegates from 5 continents shared their views. In the evening the world-famous Punjabi Sufi singer Hans Raj Hans sang Bhajans and Quawalis.

On this day the attention focussed on the procession to Kirpal Sagar, starting from Nag Kalan. Here Sant Kirpal Singh laid in 1973 the foundation stone of the future Manav Kendra ("Man-Centre", means Kirpal Sagar).

As the project Kirpal Sagar took its begin from Amritsar, a function, organized as a conference on a smaller scale, took place at the "Guru Nanak Bhawan", the main conference hall of the city.

In the morning 28 bridal couples arrived in Kirpal Sagar. After the marriage ceremonies the  couples received basic equipments needed for a new household, everything sponsored by Unity of Man.

The tournament ended the semi finals and the final match. Dances, songs and gymnastics surrounded the official programme.

During the days of the conference Kirpal Sagar was drenched in a sea of light.

XII. Dr Harbhajan Singh memorial inter school volleyball tournament took place from 3-5 December. 18 volleyball teams from the North India took part.

Groups from17 schools from the surrounding area participated. These traditional songs take up verses and hymns from the Holy Scriptures.

A traditional prayer in one of the corner buildings of the Sarovar prefaced the inauguration of the conference. At the nearby "Chowk", Mrs. Biji Surinder Kaur, uncovered a plate depicting milestones of the history of Kirpal Sagar. Thereafter, as a symbol for peace, two pigeons flew up in the sky.
